First I put jars in my oven at 200 degrees to sterilize them and get the kids boiling in a small pot. I set up my steamer or juicer on one of my front burners and get some apples chopped up and steaming. Once they are soft we run them through a hand held food mill. After they are sauced I put:
12 cups sauced apples
3 cups sugar
2 tsp cinnamon (opp)
1 tsp ground cloves (opp)
All in a pot on medium heat stirring the whole time.
Then I put the mixture in canning jars and boil them in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
The juice in my juicer I put in cleaned out 2 liter pop bottles and freeze without adding sugar. It can be served without sugar or with sugar. Another good combo is mixing the juice with some ginger ale.
Allow 1 tbsp yeast and 2 tbsp sugar to rise in 1 1/4 cups hot water. After 10 min add: 2 tbsp oil and 3 cups flour and mix. Roll dough onto greased cookie sheet and slice. Allow to rise for up to 1 hour then spread topping on and bake at 350 for 30 min.
Cook rice and ground meat. I make this when I have left over rice. Cut the stems out of the peppers and Slice them in half from top to bottom. Place peppers in a pan. Mix remaining ingredients together then put filling in the peppers. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
