Apple sauce

First I put jars in my oven at 200 degrees to sterilize them and get the lids boiling in a small pot.  I set up my steamer or juicer on one of my front burners and get some apples chopped up and steaming.  Once they are soft we run them through a hand held food mill. After they are sauced I put:
12 cups sauced apples
3 cups sugar
2 tsp cinnamon (opp)
1 tsp ground cloves (opp)
All in a pot on medium heat stirring the whole time.
Then I put the mixture in canning jars and boil them in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.

The juice in my juicer I put in cleaned out 2 liter pop bottles and freeze without adding sugar.  It can be served without sugar or with sugar.  Another good combo is mixing the juice with some ginger ale.
